Today I'd like to share Burtonesque Disney characters that AI created.

According to Buzzfeed who published this - they asked an AI generator to re-create Disney characters with a a touch of Tim Burton.

Below is Tim Burton's opinion on AI creating these characters (which I agree with...).

So let's look what AI came up with...

So according to Tim Burton in another article in Business Insider he stated that the AI imitations of his art style are missing 'humanity' and 'soul' — even if the results are 'pretty good'...

And I agree with Tim Burton 100%. 

The eyes of the images are lifeless - dull. 

The character's have nothing to them - just typical animation depicting a character - not the character themselves. 

So unlike the previous art work from other artist's interpretation of Burtonesque that I previously posted.

Look at the differences of spirit, emotion, and essence in the artwork of ACTUAL ARTISTS compared to the tedious, unimaginative depictions created by the 'brain' of a computer.

I'll take the heart of an artist every day - 365.
